I am a farm wife in western Illinois who has been called to write Christian fiction. I've published two series with five total books. The Cottonwood Series begins in 1875 in Iowa. Stones Creek Series is set
in Colorado in 1867. The first chapters are all available on my website. I post a weekly blog called Little Bits on my site, monthly on The Barn Door and twice a month on Authorculture.
My first book, Healing Love, won first place in Historical Christian Fiction genre in AuthorStand.com's 2012 competition as well as second in genre in elit.com 2012 contest. Healing Love and my third book
Giving Love are both finalists in the ReadersFavorites.com 2013 contest in Christian Historical Fiction.
Stories have always fluttered through my head. With my children grown and gone, my volunteer work at my church changing I've felt God leading me in a different direction. The stories now wanted to get out. Thus Stories of Faithful Living was born.
My goal is to demonstrate that it is possible to live and make choices which Christ would want us to. All the books will have a Christian focus passing on what God has taught me through the years and continues to teach me. I hope you find the books enjoyable as well as showing the benefits of dealing with issues common to man in God's way.
